Timos is seeking a Lead HVAC Install Technician to support climate control systems for logistics and warehousing sites. You'll lead small install crews to plan, install, and commission HVAC equipment for offices, cross-docks, and warehouses, ensuring safe, code-compliant work and minimal disruption to freight operations. Responsibilities include site assessments, reading plans, layout and installation of ductwork, piping, and equipment, start-up and testing, documenting work, and coordinating with operations teams. You'll mentor junior techs, uphold quality and safety standards, and collaborate with Timos' digital teams to improve maintenance and tracking processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HVAC installation projects in warehouses and logistics facilities from planning through commissioning.
  • Perform site assessments and interpret blueprints, specs, and wiring diagrams.
  • Install ductwork, piping, controls, and HVAC equipment to code and manufacturer standards.
  • Oversee start-up, testing, and balancing of systems to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to minimize disruption to freight and warehouse activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and regulatory requirements on all job sites.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians, assigning tasks and reviewing completed work.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve documentation and digital tracking of equipment.
  • Communicate clearly with project managers, vendors, and customers regarding progress and issues.
