Lead Technician, HVAC Install

Timos is seeking a Lead HVAC Install Technician to support climate and ventilation systems in logistics hubs, warehouses, and fleet facilities. You will lead small install crews, plan and execute HVAC installations for offices, cross-dock terminals, and maintenance bays, ensuring systems are sized, configured, and commissioned for 24/7 freight operations. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, coordinating with site managers, supervising subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and documenting work. You'll collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and support Timos' data driven, fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise HVAC install crews on warehouse, terminal, and office projects.
• Plan, install, and commission HVAC systems, ductwork, and controls for logistics facilities.
• Interpret blueprints, specs, and scope to ensure correct equipment placement and routing.
• Coordinate schedules and site access with operations, GC, and subcontractors to limit downtime.
• Perform start-up, testing, and balancing; verify performance and comfort targets are met.
• Ensure all work meets code, safety, and quality standards; enforce OSHA-compliant practices.
• Troubleshoot issues during and after installation and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and as-built information for each install.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on installation best practices and safety.
• Communicate progress, risks, and material or labor needs to project and operations leaders.
