Lead HVAC Install Technician

Timos is seeking a Lead HVAC Install Technician to support climate control systems across our logistics and warehouse network. You will lead small install crews to plan, install, and commission HVAC systems for truck terminals, cross-dock facilities, and offices, ensuring reliability for 24/7 operations. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, sizing and placing equipment and ductwork, wiring and controls hookup, brazing and refrigerant charging, start-up and testing, and documenting work in digital systems. You'll coordinate with operations teams to minimize downtime, mentor junior techs, and uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform installation of HVAC systems in logistics and warehouse facilities
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to plan installs
• Install and connect ductwork, piping, electrical, and controls for HVAC systems
• Commission, test, and balance systems; verify performance and document results
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate with operations to schedule work and minimize downtime
• Use digital tools to track work orders, materials, and project status
• Train and mentor junior technicians; provide on-site technical guidance
• Troubleshoot installation issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe job site
