Lead Technician, HVAC Install

Timos is seeking a Lead HVAC Install Technician to support climate control systems across our transportation and warehousing operations. You'll lead small crews installing, retrofitting, and commissioning HVAC systems in cross-dock terminals, warehouses, and fleet support facilities. Responsibilities include reading plans, sizing and routing ductwork and refrigerant lines, setting and wiring units, and ensuring code compliance. You'll coordinate with logistics and facility teams, train junior techs, document installs, and support start-up and troubleshooting in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment focused on reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute HVAC installation projects in warehouses and logistics facilities
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job plans for accurate installs
• Install, pipe, and wire HVAC units, ductwork, and controls to code
• Commission and test systems, resolving issues during start-up
• Coordinate schedules and site access with facilities and logistics teams
• Train and mentor junior technicians, ensuring safe work practices
• Maintain detailed install, test, and equipment documentation
• Inspect existing systems and recommend upgrades or improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to minimize downtime during installs
