Local Truck Driver

Lazer Logistics is hiring Local Non-CDL Truck Drivers to support yard management, spotting, and shuttle operations for major distribution centers. In this local role, you'll move trailers within facilities, position them at docks, and complete short shuttle runs-no over-the-road travel. You'll perform inspections, follow strict safety and traffic rules, and use yard management technology to track moves. Responsibilities

• Safely operate local non-CDL trucks for yard, shuttle, and spotting moves at customer distribution centers
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required logs and documentation
• Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety procedures and traffic rules
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard supervisors, and warehouse personnel
• Accurately spot, move, and position trailers in designated doors and yard locations
• Report equipment issues or safety hazards immediately and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Use yard management systems or handheld devices to track trailer moves and assignments
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and maintain a clean, organized vehicle
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure on-time trailer movements
• Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training to maintain compliance and skills
