Maintenance Mechanic

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for the night shift at our wholesale distribution facility. In this role, you'll keep conveyors, packaging lines, and material-handling equipment operating safely and reliably. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues, completing preventive maintenance, and documenting work in our maintenance system. You'll partner closely with operations to reduce downtime while upholding strict safety and lockout/tagout standards in a fast-paced, people-first environment with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, packaging, and material-handling equipment during night shift operations
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime in the distribution center
• Inspect, adjust, and repair motors, gearboxes, chains, belts, bearings, and hydraulic systems
• Execute work orders, document repairs, and track parts usage in the maintenance system
• Collaborate with operations to plan maintenance around production needs and prioritize urgent repairs
• Follow safety, lockout/tagout, and company compliance procedures at all times
• Assist with installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
