Physical Therapist
Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide evidence based rehabilitation services across inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, providing patient/family education, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to optimize outcomes. The PT will document in the EMR, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, support quality and safety initiatives, and mentor support staff. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive PT evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and function
- Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians on coordinated care
- Document assessments, goals, and progress accurately in the EMRParticipate in interdisciplinary rounds and discharge planning
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Contribute to quality improvement and outcome initiatives
- Supervise and mentor rehabilitation aides or support staff as appropriate
