Food Service Worker Lead

ARAMARK is seeking a Food Service Worker Lead to support Panera at Purdue Retail Dining. In this role, you will lead daily food service operations, guiding a small team to deliver fresh, high-quality Panera menu items and excellent guest service. Responsibilities include assisting with line setup, food prep, and service; operating POS and handling cash; monitoring food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation; supporting inventory and restocking; and helping train new team members. You'll model Aramark's values of safety, teamwork, and inclusivity while creating a positive dining experience for students and guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily food service operations for Panera at Purdue Retail Dining
• Prepare, assemble, and serve Panera menu items to brand and Aramark standards
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to students, faculty, and guests
• Operate POS systems, accurately handle cash, and follow cash-handling procedures
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all service and prep areas
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and rotation of food and supplies
• Help train, coach, and guide new or junior food service staff
• Support shift organization, task assignment, and communication with management
• Follow all safety, health, and company policies and procedures
• Promote Aramark's culture of teamwork, inclusivity, and service excellence
