Assistant Manager

Zaxby's is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations in our fast-casual restaurant. In this role, you'll help lead a team focused on Southern hospitality, high-quality food, and an outstanding guest experience. Responsibilities include assisting with shift leadership, staffing, training, and performance coaching, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, handling cash and inventory, and resolving guest concerns. You'll model friendly, fast-paced service and support store goals in sales and operations. This role offers clear growth opportunities into higher-level management as our brand continues to expand.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient shifts
• Deliver and model excellent guest service rooted in Southern hospitality
• Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to meet performance standards
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing training of staff
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Monitor quality, speed of service, and restaurant cleanliness
• Handle cash management, POS transactions, and basic financial controls
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and stock rotation
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Support sales goals, promotional activities, and community involvement initiatives
