ARAMARK is seeking a Groundskeeping Lead to support our Facilities & Maintenance team within the Facility Services industry. In this role, you will oversee daily grounds operations, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure high standards of landscaping, cleanliness, and safety across assigned properties. You will train and guide grounds staff, operate and maintain equipment, and collaborate with management to improve processes and meet client expectations. Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily tasks for a team of groundskeepers to maintain outdoor areas
  • Perform hands-on grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, and mulching
  • Maintain clean, safe, and attractive lawns, gardens, walkways, and exterior common areas
  • Operate and care for grounds equipment such as mowers, blowers, trimmers, and edgers
  • Assist with inspection and basic maintenance of irrigation systems
  • Monitor plant health and report or address pests, disease, or safety hazards
  • Train and mentor grounds staff on proper techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
  • Organize daily and weekly work schedules and adjust priorities based on weather and client needs
  • Communicate work status, issues, and improvement opportunities to facility management
  • Support seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow/ice support, and storm clean-up as needed
  • Ensure compliance with ARAMARK safety policies and OSHA guidelines while working outdoors
  • Collaborate with Facilities & Maintenance teams to support special projects and events
