CNC Machinist II

KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America seeks a CNC Machinist II for 2nd shift to produce precision components for advanced endoscopic and surgical devices. You will set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills/lathes, interpret complex blueprints, and perform in-process inspections to ensure tight medical-device tolerances. Responsibilities include tool changes, offsets, basic program edits, and routine equipment maintenance while following cGMP, ISO, and safety standards. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams, document production data, and support continuous improvement in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for precision medical-device components
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to meet tight tolerances
• Perform offsets, tool changes, and basic CNC program edits as needed
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Document production data and maintain accurate records per c
• GMP/ISO standards
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
• Collaborate with engineering and quality on process improvements and issue resolution
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory procedures in a medical manufacturing environment

Required Skills

• CNC mill and lathe setup and operation
