Delivery Truck Driver

As a driver, you will handle the delivery and unloading of food and supplies to our valued customers with the support of cutting-edge logistics and distribution technology. This role requires excellent driving skills, a dedication to safety, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Deliver and unload foodservice products to customers using hand trucks or by hand carrying products.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Receive and verify dispatch instructions and review delivery schedules and routes.
• Maintain communication with the dispatch team and report any issues or deviations from the schedule.
• Adhere to company safety policies and ensure protocols are followed.
• Process paperwork and documentation related to deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with customers at drop-off points.

Required Skills

• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with using navigation tools and truck management systems.
• Capability to handle receipts, invoices, and basic documentation related to cargo delivery.
• Knowledge of safe and efficient route planning.
