CDL A Truck Driver
US Foods is seeking a professional CDL A Truck Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this local, full-time role, you will safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer to deliver a wide range of foodservice products to restaurants and foodservice operators. Responsibilities include completing assigned routes, loading/unloading product, performing DOT-compliant inspections, and maintaining accurate electronic logs. Responsibilities
- Operate CDL A tractor-trailer to deliver foodservice products to restaurants and foodservice operators on scheduled local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following all DOT and company safety and compliance requirements.
- Load, unload, and verify products using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring accurate, damage-free deliveries.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service, resolving delivery issues and representing US Foods' brand standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, ELD records, and related documentation.
- Communicate with dispatch and transportation team regarding delays, route changes, or customer concerns.
- Follow food safety, temperature control, and product handling procedures.
- Support an inclusive, collaborative culture and participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
