Vice President, Tax

Forward Air is seeking a Vice President, Tax to lead enterprise-wide tax strategy for our asset-light transportation and logistics network. This executive will own tax planning, compliance, and reporting across federal, state, and local jurisdictions, guiding the company through complex, high-growth operations and transactions. Responsibilities include optimizing effective tax rate, overseeing ASC 740, managing audits, and advising on M&A, intercompany structures, and cross-border activities. Partner closely with Finance and Operations leadership while building and developing a high-performing, safety- and performance-driven tax organization.
