Assignment Details

Requirements
• Active Missouri license
• Active Missouri DEA
• Active CSR required
• Must live 90+ miles from facility
• ACLS
Clinical Details
• Medical direction anesthesia practice
• CRNAs do not work independently
• Anesthesiologist is first call for OR and OB cases; CRNA provides backup support when needed
• General anesthesia coverage including adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma cases
• Required skills:
- Spinal anesthesia - Epidural anesthesia - Regional anesthesia - Complex orthopedic cases - Neurosurgical cases - Thoracic cases - Ventilation management - Central line placement - Arterial line placement - PA catheter placement - Acute volume/BP management
• Peripheral blocks are not typically performed
• Rare epidural cases
