Emergency Medicine Physician

Pick up 4-10 shifts per month in a low-volume emergency department with flexible 12- or 24-hour options and no trauma cases.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient emergency department with six treatment beds
• Adult-only general emergency medicine
• Average volume of approximately seven patients on days and four on nights
• Solo physician coverage with APP and nursing support

Schedule

• Approximately 4-10 shifts per month
• Choice of 12- or 24-hour shifts
• Day and night coverage available
• No call outside scheduled in-house shifts

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Active Georgia license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Logistics

• Lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursement are provided
• Airfare is not provided
