Project Jobsite Electrical Foreman

The Jobsite Foreman will oversee and coordinate the electrical installations and maintenance on our commercial electrical construction projects.

The Foreman is responsible for managing a team of journeyman electricians and apprentices, ensuring work is completed to the highest quality standards, on time, and in compliance with safety regulations.

The role involves hands-on electrical work as well as leadership and supervisory duties to ensure efficient project execution.Also hiring journeyman lead service techs who could work out of a van with an apprentice.

The position is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) level role, eligible for overtime for all hours worked over 40 hours in a week. Compensation will vary depending on location and experience.

Must have active and valid TDLR Journeyman licenses, and experience running jobs as a foreman.

Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm,(Can vary depending on the jobsite and general contractor agreements)


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid TDLR Journeyman’s License.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 certified; OSHA 30 preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent with prior commercial experience as a journeyman electrician.
• Intermediate understanding of electrical principles and concepts including NEC code.
• Basic knowledge of software programs like Microsoft Outlook, Autodesk, Bluebeam, and Salesforce.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Demonstrate strong communication and organization capabilities.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Deal with problems involving variables in standardized and/or unexpected situations.
• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise apprentice and journeyman electricians by providing daily leadership and continuous performance management, including setting expectations, providing task lists, giving feedback, coaching, and training.
• Perform daily time clock maintenance for assigned work crew on the jobsite.
• Address basic and moderate attendance, performance, and conduct issues.
• Mentor jobsite journeymen and apprentice electricians.
