Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director

As Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director at Drax, you will lead end-to-end optimization of generation plants and the broader energy value chain to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. Reporting within Production & Operations, you will align plant performance with Drax's zero-carbon, lower-cost energy strategy. You'll leverage data analytics, KPIs, and continuous improvement methods to remove bottlenecks, reduce costs, and maximize asset value. Partnering with engineering, supply chain, trading, and commercial teams, you'll oversee cross-functional projects that transform how energy is generated, supplied, and utilized, while fostering an inclusive, safety-focused culture that reflects Drax's commitment to responsible energy use.
