Staff Accountant

Mid-City Scrap, LLC, a long-established metal recycling company in Middletown, CT, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting and financial reporting. In this role, you will maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close. You will process payables and expenses, support budgeting and variance analysis, and track scrap metal purchases, sales, and inventory. Working in a family-owned, community-focused environment, you'll partner closely with operations and logistics while contributing to a stable, sustainability-driven business.
