Advanced Practitioners - Critical Care

Job Details:

• Join a collaborative, seasoned critical care team in an inpatient intensivist setting
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic diseases for a complex patient population
• Perform procedures and order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Communicate with patients and families regarding their conditions and care plans
• Collaborate effectively with a variety of consultants and care team members
• Conduct routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to specialists as appropriate
• Identify problems outside of scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician
• Full-time, night shift schedule with premium differentials offered
• No call required
• Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License
• Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner training required
• Minimum 1+ years of advanced practice experience in a critical care setting required
