Work-Based Learning Coordinator

The Work-Based Learning Coordinator at Calais School designs and manages career exploration and employment-readiness experiences for students with special needs in grades K-12+. This role builds and sustains partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and agencies to provide internships, job sampling, and workplace visits. The Coordinator aligns work-based learning with IEP and transition goals, delivers workplace readiness instruction, trains and supports job coaches, and collaborates closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure safe, meaningful, and inclusive experiences that prepare students for employment and postsecondary success.
