Stop Loss Accountant

TPAC Underwriters is seeking a Stop Loss Accountant to support our self-funded employee benefit and medical stop-loss programs. In this role, you will manage premium, claims, and funding accounting, ensuring accurate general ledger entries, reconciliations, and monthly settlements for brokers, employers, and carriers. You will analyze variances, resolve discrepancies, and support audits and financial reporting. Working in our collaborative, service-oriented Des Moines team, you'll partner closely with underwriting and administration to refine processes and build expertise in a specialized, relationship-driven niche of the insurance industry.
