Job Details:
- Full-time, in-person 1.0 FTE position with a 14 on/14 off rotation schedule
- 7-day service coverage model with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Overnight and weekend call shared among physician pool, averaging once per week while on service
- Provide telehealth services to critical access hospitals in the surrounding area
- Manage care of psychiatric patients in the emergency department, including leading care rounds, triage, and evaluation
- Provide consultation services to a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Join a collaborative team of 16 adult and 5 child and adolescent psychiatrists
- Work alongside doctoral level psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, RNs, and clinical assistants
- Participate in a broad spectrum of behavioral health services including inpatient psychiatric care, consult-liaison, emergency psychiatry, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services, and outpatient behavioral health clinic
- Collaborate with an integrated pharmacist team including a Hospitalist and Pharmacist
- Interest in ECT procedures is a plus as the program aims to restart services
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry required
