- Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
- Interpret EKG, echocardiograms, nuclear imaging, stress tests, TEE, and cardiac monitors
- Conduct patient evaluations, including history and physical assessments
- Collaborate with other specialties to ensure high standards of care
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on diagnostic data
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate records in electronic medical records
- Participate in outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals when needed
- Attend medical staff meetings and contribute to clinical practice policies
- Stay current with CME requirements and maintain licensure and certifications
Required:
- BE/BC in Cardiology (Non-Invasive)
- Nuclear and Echo certification preferred
- License to practice in Oregon
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP highly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred; no recent grads
- Clean malpractice history and background
Preferred:
- Experience with a broad scope of cardiac diagnostics and treatments
- Ability to provide outreach services
- Comfortable working in a low-stress, engaging environment
