Job Summary:
CarePartners is seeking a Hospice Medical Director / Hospice Physician to join our 27-bed inpatient hospice unit, Solace Center. The physician will partner with our skilled interdisciplinary team including APPs, nursing leadership, social workers, chaplains, rehabilitation professionals, and support staff to provide exceptional end-of-life care to patients and their families in Asheville, North Carolina. Opportunities exist for medical student and resident education as well as future leadership growth.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified or board eligible in any specialty
- While fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is preferred, experience in geriatrics, oncology, SNFs, primary care or internal medicine is welcome
- Practicing physicians and new grads are encouraged to apply
