Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care coverage at multiple locations throughout the St. Louis, MO area

  • Centers are open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday through Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 12-hour shifts on weekends

  • Expected patient volume of 36 to 48 patient encounters per shift

  • Must be residency trained and board certified or board eligible (if within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds through ABMS or American Osteopathic Board

  • Must be trained and comfortable seeing both adult and pediatric patients (6+ months)

  • Must be comfortable with minor procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, and casting

  • Must be proficient in reading X-rays and EKGs; onsite X-ray and EKG equipment available

  • Must be comfortable drawing blood and working independently

  • Must be very comfortable with EMR; Epic experience is a plus

  • BLS certification required and must be obtained directly through the American Heart Association

  • Must show proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months with experience correlating to privileges requested

  • Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians as support staff

  • Preference given to providers who can work blocks of shifts, including both weekdays and weekends

  • Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts
