Internal Medicine Physician

Join WCS Healthcare Partners in Greater NYC as an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for outpatient primary care. This opportunity arises due to expansion at a growing institution. Responsibilities

• Work in a large primary care clinic with 15,000 annual visits.
• Manage a schedule of 16-20 patients per day under the guidance of the medical director.
• Engage in a strong academic environment with medical students, externs, and a residency program.
• Participate in residency teaching as an essential part of the role.
• Maintain a schedule of Mon-Fri 8-4/9-5 with no evenings or overnights.
• Provide inpatient coverage one weekend a month, compensated at $1,500 per weekend.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient management.
• Include one session (half day) of administrative time in the schedule.
• Family medicine candidates should be comfortable working with IM residents.

Position Details

This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, benefits, and malpractice coverage.

Requirements

• Active NY License.
• Residency Training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification Required.
• Residents graduating in the next 12 months encouraged to apply.
• Spanish skills preferred, but not required.

Financial Incentives

The position qualifies for loan forgiveness in addition to PSLF, offering $120k over 3 years ($40k/yr).
