Interventional Radiology Locums - Chattanooga, Tennessee (IMLC Accepted)Availability

• Start Date: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)
• Coverage Needed: September 2026 - January 2027
• Required: Must be available to start in September and provide ongoing coverage through the end of the year

Schedule

Onsite

• Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Call

• Weekdays: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekends/Holidays: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM (24-hour call)

Location

• Chattanooga, Tennessee
• Additional coverage at Hixson, Tennessee and North Georgia
• Hospital and ambulatory imaging sites

License Requirements

• Active Tennessee Medical License or IMLC Accepted

Board Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Position Highlights

• Interventional Radiology with diagnostic radiology responsibilities
• Epic EMR
• McKesson PACS and Merge PACS (Breast Imaging)
• Two Physician Assistants provide support

Required Interventional Radiology Procedures

Candidates must be proficient in:

• Biliary stents and drains
• Percutaneous nephrostomy
• G-tube placement/change
• J-tube reposition/change
• Abscessograms
• Peritoneal drains
• Chest tubes
• Kyphoplasty
• Lumbar punctures
• Blood patches
• Intrathecal chemotherapy injections
• Spinal injections
• Diagnostic arteriography
• Venograms
• Arterial catheter placement
• Venous vascular catheter placement
• Thrombolytic interventions
• Thrombectomy
• Venous embolization
• Arterial stenting
• Angioplasty/Venoplasty
• IVC filter placement and removal
• TIPS procedures
• Y-90 therapy
