Assignment Details

• Practice Setting: Hospital and Outpatient Clinic
• Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center
• Coverage Duration: 6-9 Months
• Ongoing Need: Up to 2 weeks per month
• Schedule: 7:00 AM-7:00 AM (24-hour call)
• Coverage Type: ER call with outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Reason for Coverage: Provider resignation

Available Coverage Dates

• September 25 (AM) - October 1 (AM), 2026
• October 22 (AM) - October 26 (AM), 2026
• December 23 (AM) - December 28 (AM), 2026
• February 22 (AM) - March 1 (AM), 2027

Additional ongoing coverage available up to two weeks per month based on internal provider schedules.

Clinical Responsibilities

• 24/7 Emergency Department orthopedic call
• Three outpatient clinic mornings per week (Monday-Friday; exact days to be determined)
• Full spectrum of orthopedic procedures excluding complex pelvic cases
• Admissions and consults as needed

Patient Volume

• Admissions/Patients Per Day: Varies (0-7)

Support Staff

• Dedicated Physician Assistant for ER coverage
• Hospital support staff
• Medical Assistant in the outpatient clinic

EMR

• Epic

Licenses & Certifications

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery: Required
• Active Washington Medical License: Highly Preferred
• IMLC: Accepted with Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
• Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship: Required
• BLS: Required (may obtain after offer acceptance)
• DEA: Required (may obtain after offer acceptance)

Additional Requirements

• Must be comfortable managing a broad range of orthopedic trauma cases
• Full-spectrum orthopedic surgery experience required, excluding complex pelvic trauma
