Surgery - Thoracic Physician

Locums - A well respected healthcare system is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for ongoing call coverage in southwestern Pennsylvania

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon
• Start October 2026 for ongoing need
• 24-hour shifts; 7a-7a
• Minimum of 3-10 days of coverage per month
• Typically low overnight call volume with approximately 0-1 admissions per call shift
• Inpatient coverage with limited outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, emergency OR cases, emergency consults, and occasional outpatient follow-up
• Structural Heart experience is required
• Must be comfortable with CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and related cardiothoracic procedures
• EMR Sunrise/Allscripts and eClinical Works
• Active PA license or IMLC in hand, ACLS, BLS, DEA, recent case logs
