Practice Highlights

Help build a newly employed OB Hospitalist program caring for patients in a busy regional referral center featuring:

• Approximately 3,000 annual deliveries
• Approximately 1,400 OB Emergency Department visits annually
• 622-bed Level II Trauma Center
• Level III NICU
• Dedicated 8-bed OB Emergency Department
• 15 Labor & Delivery suites
• Collaborative multidisciplinary Women's Health program
• Iowa's only maternal transport team

Practice at the Top of Your License

You'll care for:

• Obstetric emergencies
• Unassigned labor patients
• Vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean sections
• High-risk pregnancies alongside Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
• OB Emergency Department patients

You'll be supported by:

• Experienced nursing teams
• Three employed Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians
• Anesthesiology
• Neonatology
• Family Medicine residents
• Medical students

This is an ideal opportunity for physicians who enjoy practicing high-quality obstetrics while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
