Position Overview

Emergency medicine physician coverage in a high-volume emergency department with APP support. Providers should be comfortable with acute care, supervision expectations as applicable, and working in a team-based environment.

Clinical Scope

Emergency department evaluation and management

Collaboration with APP coverage and specialty services

Emergency procedures consistent with site capability

Required Qualifications

MD or DO

Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license

Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine (per site requirements)

DEA registered to Georgia address if required for the role

Current ACLS and PALS (ATLS may be required depending on board status)

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify

Facility and Systems

EMR: Epic

Credentialing and Onboarding

Credentialing may require recent case logs and CME documentation

Credentialing timelines vary by site
