Psychiatry Physician

We are seeking a Medical Director - Psychiatry to provide clinical leadership and inpatient psychiatric care at our behavioral health hospital in Valdosta, Georgia. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for a psychiatrist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while helping guide the clinical direction of a growing behavioral health program.

The Medical Director will combine direct patient care with administrative leadership, working closely with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams to promote clinical excellence, quality improvement, and exceptional patient outcomes.

This position is based at a 140-bed behavioral health hospital serving a diverse patient population across multiple behavioral health units. The Medical Director role is structured as approximately 20% administrative and 80% clinical responsibilities.

The organization is targeting a September start, but is open to candidates who require time to obtain Georgia licensure if needed.
