Overview:
Our well-established, growth-focused Internal Medicine practice in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Physician to join our collaborative clinical team, providing full-spectrum outpatient primary care to a diverse adult patient population.
Position Offers:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient history taking and comprehensive physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized diagnosis and treatment plans using evidence-based guidelines
- Provide preventive care services, including screenings, immunizations, and risk factor counseling
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and cardiovascular conditions
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary providers
- Document patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment
- Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring for efficacy and adherence
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school, board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Practice
- Current DEA registration and eligibility to prescribe controlled substances
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred); fluency in Spanish preferred
