Radiology - Breast Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Breast Radiologist for a long-term onsite locum tenens opportunity at Northwest Women's Imaging Center in Tucson, Arizona.

This practice offers a balanced mix of breast imaging interpretation and image-guided procedures in a dedicated breast imaging center. Providers will work alongside an established team in a modern outpatient environment with consistent weekday scheduling and no overnight call requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a breast imaging specialist seeking a long-term assignment with predictable hours and competitive compensation.

Case Mix & Volume

Annual volume previously completed by one full-time Breast Radiologist includes:

Interpretation

• Screening Mammography (including 3D Tomosynthesis): 9,619
• Diagnostic Mammography: 2,279
• Breast Ultrasound: 1,716
• Breast MRI: 306

Image-Guided Procedures

Approximately 508 procedures annually , including:

• Ultrasound-Guided Breast Biopsies: 325
• Ultrasound-Guided Needle Localizations: 101
• Stereotactic Breast Biopsies: 58
• Ultrasound-Guided Aspirations / Needle Placements: 16
• Stereotactic Clip & Marker Placements: 8
• Estimated Annual Volume: 15,168 studies
• Productivity Expectation: Minimum 79 RVUs per shift
