We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist for a long-term inpatient locum tenens opportunity at North Alabama Shoals Hospital.

This ongoing assignment is designed to provide coverage for a permanent physician vacancy and offers a consistent weekday schedule with backup call responsibilities. The provider will care for adult psychiatric inpatients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and supervising residents.

This is an excellent opportunity for psychiatrists seeking a stable, long-term inpatient practice with an efficient credentialing process.

• Inpatient Adult Psychiatry
• 15-bed psychiatric unit
• Approximately 12 patients per day
• Mix of new evaluations and follow-up visits
• Follow-up to new evaluation ratio: 5:1
• Temporary privileges available
• Estimated credentialing time: 15 days
