Emergency Medicine Physician

Arc Health is actively seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team and provide high-quality emergency care at Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities across Arizona and New Mexico . This is a unique opportunity to practice meaningful medicine, serve underserved populations, and work in culturally rich environments within the Navajo Nation and surrounding communities.

Position Details

• Start Date: Upon credentialing
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Schedule: 10 and 12-hour shifts; will vary per location

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
• Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses and injuries
• Perform thorough physical exams and document care accurately
• Collaborate with specialists and referring physicians as needed
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Board Certification: ABEM-certified required, or Eligible
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS (all required)
• License: Active, unrestricted license (any U.S. state or territory)
• DEA: Active and unrestricted
• No gap in clinical practice exceeding 6 months prior to start
