This medical center is a well-established regional healthcare facility serving western Massachusetts, featuring 9 main operating rooms and 5 endoscopy suites. The facility offers a collaborative OR staff environment and provides comprehensive surgical services including main OR and endoscopy, with a Level 3 trauma designation.

Opportunity:
Board Certified - Anesthesia

Job Details:

• 8-hour shifts with a 6-month locum-to-perm conversion timeline
• Work under supervision within a collaborative OR team environment
• Average of 3-5 surgical cases per day in main OR and 12-15 endoscopy cases per day
• Perform general surgical cases for both adult and pediatric patients
• Administer IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia
• Manage obstetrical and neurosurgical anesthesia cases
• Utilize Meditech Expanse documentation system/EMR
• Active Massachusetts state license required or willingness to obtain
• Board Certification (AANA) required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• A Self-Query NPDB report is required at time of presentation and must be pulled within the same month as submission
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
• Travel reimbursement provided for flight, hotel, and rental car

Compensation:
