ATC West Healthcare is seeking a full-time General Urologist to join an established single-site urology practice alongside an experienced urologist and nurse practitioner. This permanent opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient care, surgical procedures, and hospital consultations while supporting a strong work-life balance with light call responsibilities in a community-focused healthcare environment.

Dates / Schedule
  • Full-time permanent position
  • Single-site urology practice
  • Light call schedule:
    • Approximately 7 days of call coverage per month
  • Not accepting:
    • Locum or locum-to-perm candidates
    • Visa candidates
    • New graduates with less than 1 year of experience
    • Candidates commuting more than 1 hour
    • Candidates planning to hold another concurrent position
Job Details / Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of urologic conditions, including:
    • Kidney stones
    • Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
    • Incontinence
    • Urinary tract infections
    • Other general urologic disorders
  • Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients
  • Perform surgical procedures in modern operating rooms, including:
    • Preoperative planning
    • Surgical intervention
    • Postoperative follow-up care
  • Provide hospital and emergency room consultations
  • Collaborate closely with:
    • Established urologist
    • Nurse practitioner
    • Other medical specialists
  • Educate patients and families regarding:
    • Diagnoses
    • Treatment plans
    • Preventive care strategies
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation
  • Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards
  • Participate in:
    • Quality improvement initiatives
    • Continuing medical education
    • Ongoing professional development
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology required
  • Completion of an accredited Urology residency program in the United States or Canada required
  • Active Vermont medical license required prior to start
  • DEA certification required
  • Clean malpractice history required
  • Most recent NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days required at presentation
  • At least 1 year of post-training experience required
  • Must not have previously applied directly to the position to be eligible through agency submission
