We re seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to step into a busy anesthesia practice setting and join a talented team of 3 MDAs 11 CRNAs.
What You ll Do
- General schedule- starting pre-op rooms with 6 ORs. MDA will start the case and CRNA will take over. OR averages 25 cases a day.
- Case mix daily 50% general surgery 50% orthopedics
- Case work weekly - 15% c-sections- 15% ENT 20% urology 5% plastic/dental 5% pulmonary
- Labor Epidurals with a max of two scheduled a day administer by MDA on call.
- 39 weeks a year (13 weeks off)
- 6 holidays rotate call required
- 5-day work week with post call day off.
- Proportionate share of weekday call - 1.4 call.
- 10 weekends of call required yearly (Fri-Sun)
- MD or DO, licensed (or eligible) in South Dakota
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology
- DEA certification (state and federal)
