Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $1.00 (rate to be confirmed, competitive package offered)
  • Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit

What You ll Do
  • Provide emergency care for a diverse patient population in a community ED setting
  • Manage a range of acute medical conditions, perform procedures, and stabilize trauma patients
  • Collaborate with a team of board-certified emergency physicians and dedicated staff
  • Use EPIC EMR to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and clinical protocols
  • Cover shifts as scheduled, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ensure timely communication with patients and staff, providing excellent patient care
What You Need
  • Active Washington State medical license
  • DEA license
  • Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only)
  • Minimum of 11-15 shifts per month, with availability for variable scheduling
  • Previous ED experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
About the Assignment
This assignment is based in a community ER with 22 beds, including 15 patient rooms and 7 hallway beds. The facility sees over 30,000 annual visits, with continuous coverage from board-certified emergency physicians. The hospital operates with variable coverage models, including single to triple coverage periods, and offers tele-stroke consultation and a 24/7 cardiac cath lab. Shifts are 10 hours, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate provider preferences.
