What You ll Do
- Provide emergency care for an average of 36 patients daily in a busy ED setting
- Manage patient assessments, diagnostics, and treatments
- Document patient encounters using Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with ED RN staff and one APP for efficient care delivery
- Admit approximately 3 patients per shift as needed
- Support onsite orientation required 1 day prior to your first shift
- Cover shifts on a 7-day schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
What You Need
- Valid Michigan medical license and DEA registration
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (Board Eligible accepted with certification pending)
- At least 2 years of emergency medicine experience
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
