• Duration: 3-month assignment with option to extend
• Coverage Needed: 4-6 shifts per month
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic / In-Office Procedure Suite

Availability Required

• Schedule:
  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
• No nights
• No weekends
• No call
• No holidays

Licenses & Certifications Required

• Active North Carolina Medical License (required before credentialing can begin)
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) preferred
• Interventional Pain Fellowship Training preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

• 100% interventional pain procedures
• No new patient consultations
• No follow-up visits
• No medication prescribing
• Perform approximately 25-30 procedures per day
• Candidates should be able to maintain this procedure volume

Required Procedure Experience

• Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
• Facet blocks and radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
• Sacroiliac (SI) joint injections
• Joint injections
• Spinal cord stimulator trials
• Kyphoplasty
• Stellate, celiac, lumbar sympathetic, superior hypogastric, ganglion impar, gasserian, and occipital nerve blocks

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with interventional pain procedures
• EHR proficiency
• Strong communication and bedside manner
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer literate (training provided on practice workflow)

• Registered Nurse
• Medical Assistant
• Fully equipped in-office fluoroscopy suite with RF generator
