Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Kentucky Long-term Opportunity with Consistent Pay

Job Requirements for Assignment :
Kentucky state medical license required
Board Certified/Eligibility required
General Bread & Butter Orthopedic Surgery cases
Full scope of work/responsibilities which includes both inpatient and outpatient settings
Clinic + Scheduled procedure days weekly
Shared night and weekend call blocks which will equal 10 days per month per FTE
200+ bed facility
No trauma required; cases shipped out to nearby trauma center
Starts July 2026 and will be a long-term opportunity
Candidates must have a minimum of 7 consecutive days available per month and have some flexibility

Additional Details:
Shift time: 8a-8a
Clinic Hours: 8a-4:30p
Surgical Call: 4:30p-8a
Volume: 15:20
Need Kentucky license, will need KY Medicaid #, and No Malpractice
Board Certified
Key Procedures: Core Ortho Surgery, Joints, Hips, Knees, Shoulders, Hand, Foot Fractures (could see some peds in clinic) etc. No Spine
Trauma Level 4
Credentials Accepted: Physician (MD/DO)
Certifications: BLS and ACLS (needed for admitting)
Clean Background
Workload: Call and Scheduled Clinic Hours
Average call 24 Hours: 1-3 hours
Rounding: 1 hour
