OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Ohio 24 Hour Call Beginning August 13 - Ongoing Assignment

Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days (Emergency temporary privileges available for providers with a clean background, active Ohio license, and DEA)

Shift Description
24-hour call coverage, 8 AM - 8 AM
Call plus call-back coverage
No in-house call
Weekend coverage required as part of schedule

Requirements
Board Certified
Active Ohio license
NRP
ACLS
Flu vaccine

Procedures / Skills Required
Must be able to perform C-sections
Must be able to perform all OB/GYN-related surgeries, including scheduled D&C procedures

Assignment Details
Hospital ER/GYN and L&D call coverage
Total beds: 10 LDRP, 3 postpartum, 1 triage
Practice includes 2 physicians and 5 CNMs
40%-50% GYN cases with 1-4 GYN surgeries per day
15%-35% C-section rate
Average 2-5 nursery admissions per day
Average daily census: 3-4 newborns
Pediatric census: 0-1 every 2 months
Nursery includes 12 normal newborn beds with no special care nursery
EMR: Epic
