Schedule: 3 days per week onsite face to face evaluations, as outlined in the order details

Position Overview
Provide compensation and pension mental health examinations for veterans. This is an evaluation only role with no ongoing treatment or prescribing. Clinical findings and required questionnaires are completed in the electronic system and submitted within required timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
Review the veteran's medical history related to the claim
Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires and medical opinions in the electronic system during the exam
Conduct mental health disability examinations including common conditions such as depression, PTSD, anxiety, eating disorders, and military sexual trauma related claims
Submit completed documentation within 24 to 48 hours after the examRequired Qualifications
Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
Doctorate from an APA accredited program
Active, unrestricted psychologist license in Alabama, or active license in another US state as allowed by the assignment requirements
NPI required
Comfortable using web based exam forms and common computer tools
Local or commutable candidate preferredCredentialing
Credentialing typically takes about 30 days and may move faster with prompt provider responsivenessBenefits
