What You ll Do

• Provide OB triage and manage unassigned gynecological emergencies
• Assist with deliveries, averaging 1-4 per hospitalist shift
• Support inpatient GYN cases and OB-related procedures
• Collaborate with hospital staff and MFM on-site at times (MFM not on-site during shifts)
• Ensure high-quality patient care during your assigned shifts
• Maintain accurate documentation within the hospital s EMR system

What You Need

• Medical license valid in Iowa or eligibility to obtain one
• Board eligibility/certification in OB-GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience
• Experience with OB triage, deliveries, and emergency gynecological cases preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment
This role involves providing critical OB and GYN coverage at a community hospital in Waverly, Iowa. You will be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment. The hospital sees approximately 200 deliveries annually, with a focus on safe and compassionate patient service.
