Locum Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon Opportunity in Springfield, OH

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide call coverage and assist in the office/clinic setting.
  • Perform a range of general cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
  • Manage cases related to coronary artery bypass, congenital defects, and valvular repairs/replacements.
  • Conduct procedures including aneurysm repair, lung resections, and chest wall/pleural procedures.
  • Oversee endarterectomies and ventilation management.
  • Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.
  • Collaborate with support staff, including APPs, in delivering high-quality care.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery.
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Active Ohio state license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) with LOQ in hand.
  • Experience with vascular surgery preferred but not required.
  • Clean malpractice history and background preferred.
  • Availability for specified call coverage dates is mandatory.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certification in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Ohio State Medical License or IMLC
