Job Details:

  • Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians board certified in ABEM

  • Locum need is equivalent of 2 FTEs

  • Must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends

  • Opportunity to work at main hospital campus as well as affiliated freestanding emergency departments

  • Main hospital campus may consider less than 12-hour shifts; affiliated freestanding emergency departments require 12-hour shifts

  • Shift times include: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, and 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM

  • No call required

  • All standard emergency room procedures required

  • Required certifications include ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (acceptable if taken at least one time)

  • Average patient census of 106 with an annual ER admission rate of 34%

  • Most common cases include penetrating trauma, a wide range of general cases, sick patients, high volume of procedures, and transfers accepted from other hospitals

  • Support staff available for all areas except pediatrics

  • Level I Trauma Center designation
