Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We are hiring a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine) for a locum tenens outpatient opportunity in Voorhees, NJ. This role is based in a modern employer-sponsored clinic focused on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute primary care services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine Physician seeking a consistent weekday schedule, no call, and strong work-life balance in a low-acuity outpatient setting.

• Monday & Thursday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Tuesday & Friday: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM 11:30 AM
• No weekends No call

34 hours per week

• Start: August 3, 2026
• End: September 30, 2026
• Extension potential

• Primary care and family medicine services
• Annual physicals and preventive health visits
• Chronic condition management (hypertension, diabetes, etc.)
• Acute and episodic care (minor illness/injury)
• Behavioral health screening and support
• Workers compensation evaluations
• FMLA and return-to-work documentation

EMR System: Athena

• Conduct physical exams and patient evaluations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic testing
• Provide patient education on treatment plans and wellness
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
• Collaborate with clinical support staff

• Active New Jersey Medical License
• MD or DO (accredited program)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine
• Active DEA license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years physician experience
• Recent experience in primary care / family medicine outpatient setting

• Outpatient primary care clinic
• Patient population: adolescents and adults (12+)
• Employer-based healthcare setting
• Low patient acuity, preventive-focused care model
• Small team environment (1 physician + 1 MA)
• No hospital duties, no inpatient rounding
